It seemed like a good idea at the time, to be honest.
In all seriousness, I have many writing projects that I am working on. Bisexual Vampire Hunters of the French Revolution, Waltons World, Para-Social, now I'm thinking about other ideas, like Martian Standard Time, and a corporate non-sexual romcom I'm choosing to call Shotgun Merger. I like these idea's and I have a lot of fun thinking about them and writing them, but I keep having this problem where I don't actually *Finish* It. Not in the sense that I just never get to the end, but I keep going back and tweaking it, adjusting it, scrapping, and starting over. I need a way to lock in my work, keep it organized, and maybe, possibly, get some feedback.
Hence, a blog. I've got a fondness for Blogger, it being where I had what I might consider my first successful writing project back when I used it for the My Little Pony FanFic blog, now unlisted. I've used Facebook for something like this, but no, not again.
So the idea here is that I'm going to post chapters from whatever I'm working on here. I think I'd like to post three times a week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, but we'll see if that happens. The plus side of that strategy is I work well with deadlines, and have several finished projects that I could dip into if I have nothing fresh to post.
So that's the plan, post three chapters of something here as more a less "Final" Drafts of that chapter, and once things are a bit more squared away I can start pointing people towards this if they want something to read. This will, if nothing else, give me a better filing system for marking my most recent drafts, which at present is just a series of progressivly urgently punctuated "THIS ONE"s at the start of each of my rough draft files.
